It is known across the country that mini storage locations have auctions from time to time. When our clients have become delinquent and we can no longer contact them and or not about to communicate to them and they have failed to pay due to a variety of reasons. If accounts are not cleared up according to terms set out in our storage rental agreement, the items in the unit become the property of Instant Storage. These items are then sold at periodic self storage auctions.


Storage auctions can provide opportunities for anyone. Most units contain household goods such as clothing, electronics, jewelery, heirlooms, furniture, etc. that can turn over a profit if sold at flea markets, garage sales or on eBay.

Since viewing may be limited or not allowed, purchasers assume the risk of finding treasures – or trash – buried within the boxes.
